On 22nd January, we will be joined by our very own Claire Hogan, who prior to owning her cleaning business spent 14 years in credit control, collecting debt on behalf of other companies. Claire says that although debt collecting from her own domestic customers is different and more personal, she still follows the same practices and manages to collect her debt without upsetting or losing customers. Claire says there is a definite difference between collecting from commercial and domestic clients, however the person on the end of the phone is still human and we should not be scared, but rather should work with them to collect the money we have earned.
